A total of 111 CMF-funded projects won 201 prizes in 21 prestigious Canadian award ceremonies during 2017-2018. Outside Canada, 20 CMF-funded projects received nominations of which 9 won prizes in 7 international competitions.
English-language Drama projects that garnered the most recognition, in Canada and on a global scale were Alias Grace, Baroness Von Sketch, Cardinal, L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables, and Vikings. In the French-language market, the series Feux, Lâcher prise, L’imposteur, Boomerang and Unité 9 captured the most awards.
